THE PROMISE

“Promises are meant to be kept, once its broken no sorry can compensate for it, everything seems go against you.”

She is the most cheerful and free spirited girl, suppressed pain under her smile. He is most fascinating, serious and rich man, he escapes from his past and tries to live with its trauma. She is able to break his sufferings by making him fall in love for the second time. A promise is made to be together, until disaster happens.

“The promise” is a heart-warming, inspiring, agonizing story of an unmarried pregnant girl (Shambhavi), betrayed by her boy friend (Arjun) and her struggle for existence.

It is a must read novel, every chapter starts with a influencing quote that make the novel itself unique. Nikita Singh is an optimistic writer. The ups and downs are tremendously written, right phrases for right situation with astonishing emotion. No one can finish the novel with complete dry eyes.

If you are an Indian romance and melodrama fan then it’s the best book. “Sometimes, it is not so much about the things that we say; as it is about the things we do not. For those who try to listen, silence speaks louder than words”, most notable quote in the book. When sambhavi insists on holding her dead baby but she could not, not because it was too painful but because of her broken arm, was the most heart aching moment.

This novel deserves 4 out of 5 for its magnificent writing.

Hasee Toh Phasee

“Hasee Toh Phasee” is that rare film that let you to know the two people very carefully. And the closer you get, the more they win you over. This delightful romantic comedy movie allows you to feel the melody of love.

The story revolves around two main protagonists Nikhil (played by siddarth malhotra), a simple, meticulous, struggling businessman. He is a one woman man and never believes in break up. Though he fails to fulfill everyone’s expectation still he doesn't know how to give up.

Meeta (played by parineeti chopra) a carefree, rebel, wanderer, psycho scientist with too many things going on in her mind, developed a lot of bad habits. Well she’s her daddy’s girl also.

Whenever they are together the scene becomes warm with dazzle chemistry. Think if I am the idea and you are the technology, then we could be perfect for each other, the foremost line of the movie. The scene where Nikhil locked Meeta in a room and after long time when he opened the door, her saree was wet because she could not control it. Then the way he hugs her it make one’s heart full of emotion.

It’s the script, dialogues, the efficient performance; the punch lines of Meeta and family members and the movie’s laugh out loud moments make it worth watching. We all know siddarth from “student of the year” but this time he performs with maturity. His acting skills developed a lot than last time. And parineeti is the drama queen. Sometime she dominates in the movie with her irony performance and natural acting.

I can give 4 out of 5 for its marvelous script, diligence performance of the characters,
the astonishing direction by Vinil Mathew.

If anyone wants to land on another place and time then this is the best book. Nicole Dweck is a promising writer. She expresses the mood emotion and the situation gloriously. The phrases are not lengthy but concisely written.

The lines from the story that made heart flattered
 "But mostly,they were tired words
words aware of all that had time before them
words aware of the quite nothing that would soon follow
they were words for endings"

I can rate this book 5 out of 5 for its magnificent writing, captivate and strong story line.
